Celebrate the International Rescue Committee’s 10 Year Anniversary in Richmond.
The International Rescue Committee (IRC) helps people affected by humanitarian crises to survive, recover, and rebuild their lives. WLCA’s own Amanda Ketterlinus works for the International Rescue Committee in Richmond. The IRC is celebrating 10 years in Richmond on Friday, October 24th at a Workshop by T&D in Scott's Addition. The focus of this event, titled Stories of Hope: A Decade of the IRC in Richmond, will be two panel discussions with those willing to share their stories with the community. The event will also include insights from guest speakers and a reception featuring Afghan cuisine from Chef Noori's restaurant The Mantu.
